Problem

The client was looking for a solution to track the performance of tools, utilities and equipment from remote centres of all mines. The currently employed methods were not holistic and did not provide real-time data visualisation. The safety and training concerns were also to be addressed with a simple yet effective solution.

Solution

A digital twin of various mine sites with 3D visualisation of the tools, equipment was created and hosted as a platform with web access. The web access also allowed the users to monitor parameters like equipment in use, and in breakdown. Specific parameters like temperature, fuel level, oxygen level, active human resource etc. were also made visible. The existing data was collected using IoT devices and transmitted through the cloud to the dashboard.

The user was able to measure the reduction in downtime, improved equipment utilisation, and streamlined workflows through the use of real-time data and insights provided by the digital twinning solution. This subscription-based LMS is deployed on AWS using EC2 and S3, built with MongoDB, Express, React, and Node.js. It offers tracking, reporting, an intuitive UI, and various content formats. A Flutter mobile app mirrors the web platform, enabling personalised learning, progress tracking, push notifications, and offline access for downloaded content on smartphones.

We installed our application which understands the various poses of a person. With the use of checkpoints we understand how each joint in a human body is moving.

When there is a risky action, the speakers will alert with the zone name where they need to correct their actions.

By implementing this software-based solution, users can still visualise the paint colour on their walls accurately using OpenCV’s image processing capabilities. This approach eliminates the need for specialised hardware or AR technology while providing an efficient and convenient paint visualisation experience.

Duracoat Paint Visualiser app allows users to preview paint colours on walls. Developed using Flutter for iOS and Android, Firebase handles authentication and databases. OpenCV processes images and detects colours. Users select colours from Firebase and apply them to wall images. Dimensions are measured with user input or reference objects. Sharing, user support, and feedback are included. Amazon EC2 hosts the backend, Amazon S3 stores media securely.
